About Us

The Scottsdale Community Chapter was chartered on February 24, 2010. It serves Scottsdale and all communities of Arizona. Our PTPI community chapter is a community-based volunteer organization, which works to increase international understanding and education on a local level. Our chapter participates in a wide variety of humanitarian and educational initiatives. Examples of our chapter activities include: hosting international visitors, sponsoring internationally-themed community events and supporting humanitarian programs such as Mary Ellen's Place and Justa Center.

People to People International's mission is to enhance international understanding and friendship through educational humanitarian and cultural activities involving the exchange of ideas and experiences directly among peoples of different countries and diverse cultures and to cooperate with other organizations which are similar in nature and purpose.
